HP Envy x360 Review > Battery Life
Battery Life
Battery life is one of the more than interesting aspects to the Green-eyed x360, as it'due south the showtime time I've been able to examine how the Ryzen v 2500U performs in this regard. Of course, comparison this laptop to other laptops isn't an apples to apples comparison and it tin exist quite hard to uncover merely how a CPU or APU can affect battery life, but I've tried to dig into the data I have so far.
The main thing to note hither is the Envy x360 actually has quite a modest bombardment for a fifteen.6-inch laptop, at but 55.7 Wh. Typically we see at to the lowest degree 70 Wh in machines of this size, if not up near the 100 Wh range, but around 56 Wh is more than like what we meet in 13-inch notebooks. This already puts the Envy x360 at a disadvantage upwards against its competitors.
Information technology therefore shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the battery life produced by this laptop isn't fantastic. In fact it'southward quite poor, and from reading other reviews it seems this is the case whether you purchase the Ryzen Mobile model or the Intel model.
If the battery was more in line with the display size, something around 75 Wh for example, battery life would be adequate and in line with about other decent-enough laptops I've reviewed. Again, while I don't have an apples to apples comparison just yet, I suspect Ryzen Mobile is slightly behind Intel 8thursday-gen in the ability efficiency stakes, though at the aforementioned time, Ryzen packs more compute power.
